Tag actions with the place, tool, or situation you need to do them.
What a Context is
A Context says what you need in order to act: a place, a tool, a person, or a situation. Examples are Computer, Phone, Errands, or Home.
Using Contexts
- An item has one Context. Choose it when you clarify or edit the item.
- A Project can have a default Context. Items you add to it take that Context unless you choose another.
- Do Now filters by Context, so you see only what you can do where you are.
Managing your Contexts
Open Contexts from the Organize group. You can add a Context, rename it, change the order, or delete it. Unlike Areas, Contexts cannot be archived.
